The 3rd annual Engineering competition was kicked off on Tuesday, January 30th for the fifth grade students at Krug. Engineering Enterprises in Sugar Grove, IL designs and facilitates the challenge. This year students are challenged to build a boat out of aluminum foil. The winner will be the boat that can hold the most washers before sinking. Students began the challenge designing boats alone, but the final boats will be done in groups.
