Athletics
Students in 5th grade have opportunities to participate in a variety of intramural athletic activities during the course of the school year. Students must be registered, attending school and in good academic and social standing as determined by the school.
A tournament is held, normally on weekends, for each of the following sports:
- Boys Soccer (fall)
- Girls Soccer (fall)
- Boys Basketball (winter)
- Girls Basketball (winter)
- Co-ed cheerleading (winter)
- Co-ed softball (spring)
- Co-ed volleyball (spring)
Any school that is unable to recruit enough 5th graders may recruit 4th graders as a last resort. Coaches wanting to do this must demonstrate their recruitment process and get approval from the tournament organizer.
If a school does cannot recruit enough 4th or 5th graders girls they may team with another school. Schools who will be teaming up must receive authorization for the tournament organizer.
Look for information from your home school about these athletic opportunities.
